It’s a busy lifestyle being a blogger in the world of entertainment blogging, not only do I have my day job, but as a lot of you know I do movie reviews quite often and even had one of my reviews, Iron Man 3, posted in the Daily Post Newspaper.

But as I mentioned it’s a busy lifestyle being a blogger, those just starting out in entertainment blogging think that it’s just a case of blogging about something once in a while and not doing much as else, but as you can see from my Tweets, I’m constantly working a massive amount of hours, not only am I at the cinema reviewing the films, but then it’s getting the reviews written up, then it’s off around the area and sometimes further covering some amazing events.

But don’t think it’s all mixing with stars at events, it’s not, we do get to meet and talk to them, but usually down to schedules it’s a quick hello, a chat and some photos with them, then we work “on the fly” to get the article written up and published.

Entertainment Blogging With The Stars

Then there is the other side of blogging on an entertainment blog, which is the getting the word out about the articles, finding like-minded blogs and fellow twitter users to get the word out and stop by to comment on the articles.

Keeping Up With The World Of Entertainment And More

So usually a day is going to a normal day job, then cover an event, write-up the article, get the photographs sorted and uploaded, post the article, share it and then promote the heck out of it to get it out there. My work days with the entertainment work are usually around 20+ hours a day!

Many people ask why I do it and I always give them the same answer, I love it, meeting great people making some amazing friends in the entertainment world, also the recognition you get from readers is amazing and when people show their appreciation by talking about my reviews and ReTweeting them etc. is awesome.

Is Entertainment Blogging Worth The Time?

Of cause it is, as long as you are willing to put in all the time to get your blog and specially your brand out to the world and show what you are capable of doing to the masses, if you love the world of entertainment then you can get yourself going.

I’ve been asked many times how I started pushing Blazing Minds in to an entertainment based blog and you can find a lot of the information about how I started in my “About Me” page, but to put it simply, if you enjoy doing something, let people know, I started writing film reviews and got noticed and the same could happen to you.

From the film reviews that I started, the snowball started rolling into events, which has moved along extremely well and I do hope that the event organisers enjoy the articles that I have written, I know that I have covered several events several times after being asked to return, which is always a good sign.

But as I mentioned earlier, all this Entertainment Blogging takes time and a lot of effort, if like me, you are lucky enough to meet and start working with a fantastic photographer that is brilliant at photographing the celebrities and putting them at so much ease to work with you, then you’ll certainly be well on your way.

And I’m lucky enough to work with the amazing Lee Howard, who has photographed Terry Jones, Jon Bon Jovi, Meatloaf and recently while we covered the Sci Fi Weekend, Brian Blessed and a few more, so as you can see having two of us working at events certainly has its benefits.

Where Do You Go From Here

A question which I have pondered on many a time and it usually comes back with the same answer, keep going, I love what I do and love working with the very talented Lee Howard, together we have covered so many events together and we have a diary full of events that we will be bringing to your attention very soon.

So, as long as you, the reader, enjoy what is going on and we enjoy bringing you all the exclusives then we are going to be here for a while and in the world of Entertainment, there is always going to be something exciting to write about.
